Store Fulfillment Integration

Store Fulfillment Integration

Radial Store Fulfillment includes flexible fulfillment options: Ship-from Store, In-Store Pickup, and Ship-to Store. This optional module lets you leverage your physical assets -- both stores and people -- as strategic advantages to drive eCommerce sales efficiencies.

Radial Store Fulfillment can be implemented as a standalone solution or as a pre-integrated combination with Radial Retail Order Management.

For a standalone implementation of Store Fulfillment, see the following technical resources:

For information on implementing Radial Store Fulfillment in combination with Retail Order Management, see the following pages:

Ship-from Store

The Ship-from Store solution enables you to use your stores as regional distribution centers through robust order allocation routines to select the store which is best suited for fulfilling specific orders. Customers select merchandise based on available-to-promise inventory that includes inventory that meets your Ship-from-store criteria. The OMS routes the eligible portions of the order to the appropriate store. Store associates are notified and use Ship-from-Store to generate pick lists, shipping labels, and packing slips for the pending orders. Once the orders are picked and the items confirmed against each order, the order is packed and confirmed as ready for shipping. When the carrier picks up the order, the carrier pickup scan is sent to Ship-from-store, which updates the OMS order status and deducts inventory from the reserved location.

In-Store Pickup

The In-Store Pickup solution updates inventory in real-time, providing you with a fast, easy, and reliable option to “commit” the retail store sale while the customer is online. Customers select merchandise based upon a webstore display that shows which local store has the product available using available-to-promise in-store pickup inventory. The OMS transmits selected items to In-Store Pickup, which routes the order to the appropriate store. Store associates are notified to pick and stage the order. The order is confirmed as ready for in-store pickup to trigger email communication to the customer. As customers retrieve their orders, the store associates confirm the order pickup in In-Store Pickup which updates the order status, and deducts inventory from the reserved location.

Ship-to Store

The Ship-to Store solution leverages inventory in direct-to-consumer warehouses, retail stores, or Dropship fulfillment locations to offer the customer In-Store Pickup when the desired store is out-of-stock. Customers select merchandise and request an In-Store Pickup location when enabled by the webstore. The OMS sends the selected items to the fulfillment location and transmits the order to Ship-to Store when shipped by the fulfillment location. Upon package arrival at the store, the store associate scans the carrier tracking code, or manually enters the order, in Ship-to-Store to update package as received. This update triggers notifications to the OMS, updates the order as “Ready for Pickup,” and sends notification to the customer.
