Schedule Business Rules

The schedule opening and closing times are controlled by the following elements:

Similar logic is used for all daily elements (Tuesday, Wednesday, and so on).

The rules in order are as follows:

  1. Evaluate the <closed_ind> value.
  2. Evaluate the <default_open> and <default_close> values. If blank, set to 0000 for each day.
  3. Evaluate <closed_[day]_ind>. If set to 1 (closed), set the other elements as follows:
    <open_24_hr[day]>_ind> = 0
    <opening_time_[day]> = 0000
    <closing_time_[day]> = 0000
  4. Evaluate <open_24_hr_[day]_ind>. If set to 1 (open 24 hours), set the other elements as follows:
    <opening_time_[day]> = 0000
    <closing_time_[day]> = 2400
  5. Evaluate <opening_time_[day]>. If blank, set to the <default_open> value.
  6. Evaluate <closing time _[day]>. If blank, set to the <default_close> value.
